I sell a Local Agent Operator Install.

You already own a Mac Mini, or you will. You want an always-on local agent box that survives a reboot, runs one real workflow you care about, and does not leak private work into somebody else's cloud by accident.

That is the product. Smaller and cheaper than https://rimusz.net/week.

I do not buy or provision the machine. Same rule as the week.

Later the same install shape can land on an NVIDIA DGX Spark. Today the path is Mac Mini.

Privacy / where work runs

Grok Bot is the coordinator — chief of staff and bot templates for non-sensitive ops. AGNT on your Mac Mini does the private work: docs, minutes, scans, tenders, redaction, finance, Keychain, reboot proves. Spark is local inference when AGNT needs horsepower, not a second coordinator. Handoffs are task ids and outcome bullets or paths only. Client corpora never get dumped into Grok Bot chat.

The Mini stays always-on. Spark is optional for heavy local models. This is not a legal or HIPAA certification, and it is not an air-gap claim if Tailscale or another mesh is in play.

These are the kinds of one-workflow installs. Care rule: $500/mo when it runs unattended; $1,200/mo when a human reads the output daily and quality matters.

  • Finance intake for a bookkeeper / fractional CFO — exception queue, not full automation
  • Reply Desk — drafts from their own past replies and docs, on their Mini. Classify, route, prioritise; human hits send in their own mail client. Never auto-send. Monthly knowledge-gap report: which questions recur → write the doc once, volume drops. Default care $1,200 (human reads the output daily)
  • Minute Room — private meetings to minutes and actions (AGNT-only). Care $500 keep-alive, or $1,200 if you want Operator Care spot-checks
  • Zapier Exit — leave Zapier/Make for AGNT Workflows on their Mini (n8n only if a connector gap forces it). Not n8n-as-a-service
  • Scan Room — paper/PDF to searchable archive on the Mini (AGNT-only). Default care $500
  • Tender Drafter — first-pass bid from their past proposals (AGNT + Spark if needed). Default care $1,200; human edits; never auto-submit
  • Redaction Desk — strip PII before anything leaves (AGNT-only). Fits the existing install band; default care $1,200 (human reads the output); best-effort plus human review

SKUs

A) Async audit — $79. I review your Mini / local stack, write findings, and give a go / no-go for install. Prepaid.

B) Install — $1,500–$2,500 (default $2,000). Harden the Mini, stand up one workflow, reboot-test, leave the runbook. Half up front. Settled in USDT.

C) Reboot & Update Care — $500/mo (band ~$450–$600). Updates, reboot prove, keep the one workflow alive. Named response window. Not 24/7 on-call.

Reboot test

After a power cut or restart, you should be able to walk this list without me on the call:

  1. Machine is up and you can log in
  2. Tailscale (or your mesh) is connected, if you use one
  3. Agent runtime is running
  4. One smoke test of the workflow you paid for succeeds

If step 3 or 4 fails, the runbook says what to restart first.
